Zapier connects Cool Popup to over 5,000 apps without any code. When a visitor submits your popup form or views a campaign, Zapier can automatically send that data to your CRM, email platform, spreadsheet, or any other tool in your stack.

Available triggers

Cool Popup provides two trigger events in Zapier:
  • New Form Submission (popup.converted) — fires when a visitor submits a popup form
  • New Popup View (popup.shown) — fires when a popup is displayed to a visitor

How to connect Cool Popup to Zapier

Create a new Zap

Go to zapier.com and click Create Zap.

Select Cool Popup as the trigger app

Search for Cool Popup in the app search and select it.

Choose your trigger event

Select the event you want to act on, such as New Form Submission.

Connect your Cool Popup account

Click Sign in to Cool Popup and enter your API key. Find your API key in Dashboard → Settings → API.

Select a campaign

Choose the campaign you want to watch, or select All campaigns to trigger on any popup submission.

Set up your action

Search for your destination app (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Google Sheets), connect your account, and map the Cool Popup fields to the fields in your action app.

Turn on your Zap

Click Publish to activate your Zap. It will run automatically from this point on.
Use Zapier’s Filter step between the trigger and action to only process submissions from a specific campaign. This lets you send leads from different popups to different destinations.
